Carousel Pro as a Component?

I'm just getting started on creating a home/feature page similar to www.martinguitar.com with Carousel Pro. I want to have rotating articles with stylized image box links, an image slider, etc.

Since Carousel Pro is a module, rather than a component, I'm a little unsure as to how to make it link up to the home page on the menu. Can I leave out the component statement in my template? Or should I get a widget that will let me insert a module into an article, insert Carousel Pro and then use that article for the home page. This last option seems a little weird - an article to run a module that will carousel other articles. Oh well, I don't care about weird so long as it works.

I'll try both but I'm looking for some guidance as to the best solution.

Thanks for your advice!

You dont need additional component to insert module in article you can use loadmodule and loadpostion that are included in joomla

Yipes! I totally forgot to post last evening that I had rediscovered loadposition. (Gad I'm getting old!) I'm so sorry I wasted your time on that post Ivan.

Moving forward. If this all works out as planned, it'll look sooo great!

Thank you for your reply.
