I didn't quite understand your question so I started going through the set up for Slicebox.
Then, when I looked at the Module parameter, saw that it had Show Title = Show, and Status = Published and then saw the setting Position which was blank. I clicked to get the drop down list, selected Banner, saved the module, refreshed the page and Bingo!, I now have Slicebox working thanks to you.
I set up 6 slides but only 5 are showing, I'll have to look at the parameters again to check I haven't set it to just 5 slides but that should be straight forward. I also have to tidy up the actual site a little, but that's also for me.
The problem was caused by my lack of knowledge, so I'll have to continue reading up on Joomla to get a better understanding of the various Joomla components and how they operate.
