can't get HOT newsflash to work twice on one page

Hi,
I have a home page where I want two small slideshows to appear. I used two modules with HOT newsflash (and no text - just images) and assigned them to two different positions. Each works independently of the other but not together. When both are published, one flickers when transitioning images and the other just doesn't do anything. I have tried every combination of "load jquery" disable/enable for both modules and no joy there.
www.vmrdesigns.com.au/test/SRL_design3/ (note the second slideshow is where the specialty dry lavenders image is showing.)

Q1. Can I make them both work together on one page using HOT newsflash or is this not possible?
Q2. If not possible, can I use different image slideshow modules for each e.g. HOT slideshow for one plus another Joomla extension, or am I likely to have the same problem?

Thanks
Viv

They can not work together because it time that module was built that was not considered important so moule run-time references elements by id that is same for both instances and that creates conflict. Also css is targeting same id so that also creates conflict. We have done modifications for some of our modules but not for that one.

Instruction for modification is to use unique id to distinguish instance , css and script.

We can only help you further if you are willing to pay for customization we can also later put public like that.

OK. Thanks for the explanation and understood.

I tried using a different Joomla extension for the second slideshow - JM slideshow and they both work fine together so no problems.
Just thought I'd mention it here for anyone else who encounters the same problem.
