Dropdown menu doest work

I installed this template on joomla 1.7, when i try to menu module on the position topmenu, it only displays like bullet points. Could you help me on this? Thanks.

Menu Tag Id = nav

..I tried every possible setting with nav as Menu Tag ID (nothing in module etc. suffix) and user 3 position on a number of installs. User3 doesn't work in Joomla 2.5., nothing shows. but all other positions work, the menu shows. I even downloaded twice and reinstalled - to no avail. All other hotjoomla templates (same settings) work as they should with the user3 module position (switching from skies with same settings to another let's the module show in user3....)

There is even no module traces at all is source. Check module assignment, maybe you had some changes previously??
