How to change about-hot-clinic reference

Hello,

I bought the hot_clinic template and I want to know, if it is possible to change, and if so, where, so that when creating an article instead of showing a link like:

www.farmaciamercedes.co.cr/index.php/abo...t-clinic/naturales-2

I can change the about-hot-clini portion to something I want?

You want to control url shape? Joomla native SEF links core uses menu item aliases to compose urls. So you need to change aliases.

I have been able to change some aliases, but I dont seem to be able to change this part.

And it seems to be related to k2 items only.

I can change for example the hot-clinic-template name, but not the about-hot-clinic part.

I tried to create a new k2 template to assign categories but still wasnt able to change this.

In that case parent menu item is of type "External URL". You don't see alias field, but in fact it exists. You need temporally to change type of that menu item to any other type that allows alias like 'Single Article', change alias, then return type to 'External url'

Btw. Categories also have aliases that is used to compose urls.

thank you very much for your help so far, but I havent been able to solve mi issue...

the problem i have is that some of the items in the original template still reference the about-hot-clinic part and I just dont know where that is changed or how.

for example in my site, www.farmaciamercedes.co.cr when you click on the top menu on producto and then extensions or templates, all items in there still reference this name... for example:

www.farmaciamercedes.co.cr/index.php/abo...s/hot-joomla-gallery

I need to know who to change that part after /index.php to change from about-hot-clinic to some other site.

There is nothing special about that. You change aliases. If menu item does not have alias you temporally change its type to type that has it. Change alias then return original item type.
