Hot careoussel et read more

Hello,
I was on 1.6 and I've been on 2.5 since, hotcaroussel no longer displays "read more" impossible to proceed to the next section!

Several problems:
1.The carousel does not follow the instructions of publication, not to postpone an article.
2.More items are 'lost', I can not find an important article? It is deleted without my intervention?
