trying to add color to background

I am trying to add a background color to the "inset" section. I made a custom HTml and tried to add it in a table, but it pushes it out onto the right module.
I also tried it with no table, with background color but it only filled where there was text.
Also I added a photo bacground but it left 20px of white all the way arround.

Now the other modules have automatic coloring but I cant find anywhere for this section.

Can you set site on some free host temporally or just leave issue until you get it online

Now I am locked out of the site, it wont accept my password. I also added new user through phpmyadmin but it wont recognize that one either.
