floating row was created by info9838
Hello,
I use the cats joomla template on kine-ganshoren.be
I would like to test floating rows:
Either the top 1 and top 2 row, either the top 5 row. The floating option in the layout don't stay on...
I see that the logorow is floating but the option is not on.
Then where can I change the options?

Thanks,
Michael

Hello,

Currently, you have selected two rows to be floating. The first is the logo row, and the second is the menu row. Only one row should be set as floating; otherwise, they will overlap unless you add a top margin to one of them in CSS.

The floating rows are working normally at the moment (but they are overlapping each other as I mentioned above).

If you have difficulties enabling or disabling floating rows, please send your Joomla superuser access, and we'll check this. You can post this on the forum privately if you select a part of the text and click the "lock" (confidential) icon.

Milos

Hello,

If you make both logorow and menurow fixed, their height will be too big. They both will occupy about 50% of the mobile screen space all the time. So, you should make only the menu row fixed. Let me know if you agree.

Hello,
You're right, I misspoke...that's exactly what I don't want.
I'd like both to disappear on mobile when scrolling.
thank you

Hello,

I added a small CSS to disable the .fix_menu class in the custom.css file if the screen is less than 767px, so it's not floating on the mobile screens anymore. You must clear the mobile browser's cache to see the effect of this change.

Regards,
Milos
