Error with contact module

hi in my webistethe module contattaci doesn't send email and there isn't the answer text after submit the form..
why?

That issue is not subject of this form, it is related to your server setup of joomla mail settings. You need to check your mail settings. If you use j3 you can use classic SMTP with same parameters you would use in outlook for example. Default method is php mail and it requires to be installed on server.

No, that has no relation to your problem. If you use j3, just open account on mandrill.com (Free up to 12000 mails /month), in joomla global configuration under mail settings switch mailer to SMTP and enter parameters as you get from mandrill.com
