logo on tab

how can i make my logo appear in the browser tab instead of the usual joomla logo that usually appears on my site.

Joomla logo still appears in my tab icons how can i change it to my logo

You need to upload your favicon.ico, note this is not regular image , this is icon file.

to which file do i upload that and in what format

You need to copy it to template directory.
