What is the best way to copy template to subdomain

What is the best way to copy template to subdomain was created by aaroninbna

I am creating multiple subdomains that will be used in conjunction with JMS2WIN Multi Site program.

Copy/Paste and then make site changes ?

What about certain files (htacess, etc) do they need to be changed?

No you don't need to change file/directory paths are relative
