My pages outside of the homepage are not rendering properlly. It seems as though any other page is not getting the style sheet called properlly.

If you check out any of the rest of the pages on the site from the main menu, they render without styles.

Did you try to enable full SEF support (with mod_rewrite) in Global Configuration of Joomla.

Yes, SEF is enabled, but not mod_rewrite. What is that going to do? I have over a dozen Joomla sites and never had to enable it before.

Please switch your site to default Joomla template (rhuk_milkyway) and check if links are working then or not. I believe this is issue with your server, and that you must enable mod_rewrite.

I contacted my hosting server.... the mod_rewrite is not what i needed to do to fix.

The issue is this template was not built to be used on a shared hosting account with any type of hosting service. The codeing is not compliant in that respect. If this template is to be used by itself on the root of a hosting account, it will function properlly. But most people are not using a single hosting account per website. The coding of the site is wanting to retrieve items from the root of the hosting account, and not the root of the directory that this site is in.

Anyways, I am still working on changing code throughout the site to make it function properlly.

Thanks

We know that our templates may have errors. That's why we have this Forum, to discover bugs and fix them. However, most of our customers use templates on shared hosts and they didn't report such error so far.

That's why I am trying to find out what may cause problem with your host, so we can fix the problem and make Skies template usable on any hosting.

If you can switch to the default Joomla template (rhuk_milkyway) on your site, and claim that it worked fine, then we would be sure there was a problem with our template.

Therefore, if you can, please switch to default Joomla template and let us know if you still experience the same problems.

Thank you
