Left Side Menu

Hello all! I have many questions on using the skies template. New to Joomla but not new to HTML PHP etc..

I want to be able to change the font size of the left side menu, not the top drop down menu. I will not be using the top menu on this project. Can you please direct me to the CSS file (I'm guessing) and section that I can edit for this.

I also want to disable the Account/login window on the far right of my screen. Not able to find how to do that.

What CSS file do I use to change the default article font size and color also.

General file for that is teamplate_css.css, since you are familiar with PHP you probably know how to use browser debugger that can show you each style property and origin file, we find chrome default debugger best for that. So that is all you need to efficiently do customization.
