Re: parameters don show

I have joomla 1.7 , default templat hot_relief and hot image sloder. In frontend only a black square in backend no parameters to select on module.

Please use hot_start to install joomla with template and sample data. That way everything will be like on our demo, so you can just change content.

I have the same issue. No parameters and a black box appears. Cant we just install the module. Does it work at all without installing through hot_start ?
Is there anything we need to edit to make it work ?

It should work. This are know issues on some servers:

Open /languages/en-gb/en-GB.mod_hot_image_slider.ini

delete comments lines starting with #.

Also are you sure you downloaded right version for your joomla

I tried to edit /language/en-GB/en-GB.mod_hot_image_slider.ini but do not find any #'s in it.

Well that's why you don't have normal text. You have it in your zip packade you can find it there also here is one in attachment (better use one from your zip). Copy it to this locations:language\en-GB\andadministrator\language\en-GB\
