How to add it to an article

I am a newbie to image slider. how do i add the image slider on the top center of the page as you have it displayed in your demo. Do I have to add it to an frontpage article?

No, it's not necessary to install this extension. {loadposition yourmoduleposition} will work with Joomla core only.
