Two instances of Hot Newsflash on one page

Is there a way of adding two instances of Hot Newsflash on the same page? I tried it on my site, Media Helping Media, and although it looked fine at first and the highlighted tabs on the menu changed, the text and image in the second instance didn't change.

Can you only have one instance on each page?

In joomla version one per page is limit.
