Spacing between tabs

I've got 4 vertical tabs with a bottom border (1px) on all the tabs. When the active tab changes color, there is a slight space between the bottom border of the tab above it and the color of the active tab. How can I remove this space? I've tried changing the height in the module parameters but that doesn't work. I've attached a screenshot of my tabs.

Check your template's css file, you probably have padding or margin set for UL or LI.

Thanks milos. Not sure that was it but I did find the fix I was looking for in another thread. I usually try to search before I post something.
