Alt Tags for images in Carousel

Hello, I'm using the hot restaurant template, and in configuring the carousel on the front page, I have noticed that my images do not have alt tags. I cannot find where to control this in the carousel's config options (other options like image size, scroll effect, background, etc.) are all there; except for alt tags. As we all know, the alt tags are important for SEO. How can I set the alt's?

They have the ALT tag and it's empty. To edit this, please edit file /modules/mod_hot_joomla_carousel/tmpl/default.php and wherever you see alt="", change it to alt="something"

Please keep in mind that ALT tags of all images must be the same.

I'm working with a template that uses Hot Joomla Carousel, which I love, but even after changing the default.php file (alt="partner") in both places, it's still not showing up with the alt text. I need the alt tags to meet the 508 compliance requirements. Thanks for your help.
