IE 6 Error was created by samuel
Hello,

I've had some responses that our website is not visible in IE 6 and the explorer closes with an error report. I verified this and when I open the website in IE 6, the website stops loading on the file: www.zijnboodschap.nl/modulus/mod_D_Artik...ge/left-arrow-32.png
I know you don't offer support for IE 6 but it would be great if you could take a look and explain to me why the website doesn't work in IE 6.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Samuel

The link is broken, perhaps that's why IE6 stops loading. Anyway, this file is from module mod_D_Artikles. This is not our module, so I can't help you. Please look for help on the module developer's site.

Thanks Milos for your fast response! You're right about the module. After disabling this module, the website loads completely. However, the submenu's of the main menu are not displayed properly, i've noticed this is the same for the demo website. Is there a quickfix for this problem in IE 6?

Thanks,
Samuel

I am not sure about it. We decided to discontinue IE6 support (like many other template providers) because we needed a lot of time and work to make each template IE6 compatible. In addition, sometimes it's not possible to make template IE6 compatible without major changes in design.

But I don't think you should worry because there are only 2-3% of IE6 users today, and this percentage is going down every day.

Just checked stats of hotjoomlatemplates.com, there are 2.3% of IE6 users. Also, there are just 5.1% of IE7 users. That's good news too! :) Those two browsers are nightmares!
