I don't think Register Globals could cause this. We tested templates on few servers with Register Globals set to ON without problems.

Good morning again...well i realy want to use the fine tamplate ...
as I said, I instaled a clean version of the architekture template
web-vision-design.com/Vision/
still the same problem
I also installed the boutique template
web-vision-design.com/design/
no problem at all!
I asked my provider bytecamp.net - he couldnt figure it out too- advised me to install a .htaccess to chance to php 5
I did so
here is what i did:
include .htaccess with: AddType application/x-httpd-php5 .php
the side didn´t load at all ...not even a trouble notice.
include .htaccess with: AddType application/x-httpd-php53 .php
sides load but still the same probleme with the architekture template .....

Oh I have no idear if it helps but I installed the ioncube too and here is the php info : web-vision-design.com/ioncube/loader-wiz...meout=1&page=phpinfo

Sorry, I don't know anything about enabling PHP5 through .htaccess. All hosting providers have some kind of control panel (cPanel, Plesk...). You should login there to switch between PHP4 and PHP5. For Joomla 1.5, it's recommended to run PHP5.

One more idea, try to disable sIFR fonts in the template parameters. Will it work then?
