thank you for your template. i was trying to change the Left and Right Menu box color to look like the one on your demo site demo.hotjoomlatemplates.com/index.php?template=coffeine like the popular module on the right side the color of my choice. i tried to change the module color from a template manager. when i do that it won't take affect. but when i choose a custom , it works but the whole template style change.

so how do i change only the menu box to the color i want?

also can the reverse check mark sign be removed from the menu module?

your assistance is very much appreciated

thank you

If you want to keep style, and edit some of its parameters, you must edit file, in example /templates/hot_coffeine/styles/style1.php (change 1 with your selected style) in Notepad. Then find colors you'd like to change. I think you want to change $columnBg = "#EBE6DF"; and $columnBg2 = "#5F3E0B";

Yes, you can change any color that you find in the style file that I mentioned.

What about Custom selected instead of a predetermined style ?

RESOLVED.

I wanted to remove the background images (brush mark logo), as well as, change the color. The color was no problem, but by simply renaming the background image to "old", the picture was easily removed.
