back end problems after instalation

hello

after having installed the carousel pro module and go to the control panel on the back end I encounter several problems.
I want the carousel working with photographs but when I choose that option not let me put the folder where are the pictures and thus can not choose who I want to publish photos
the module was downloaded from your page. the version is 3.0.3 and I want to install the template hot_responsive_portfolio
how i can solve the problem of incomplete installation of the module in the backend
in the frontend gives me an sql error

How you can not set the folder to images? You need to type path there manually like images/stories
