Failed to open stream error

I have the carousel pro module referenced on the home page of my site and get this error:

file_put_contents() failed to open stream: Permission denied in <b>(my server directory)/htdocs/libraries/joomla/utilities/compat/php50x.php</b> on line <b>66</b>

I get this in content or images mode. Can you give me any direction?

Also... I'm pretty sure I need to change permissions somewhere... just no direction on where.

You need to change permissions of image folder.Set CHMOD 777 . If your hosting provider does not have option to cahge this you can get and use joomla!explorer component
