Installation problem - hotstart

When extract ziped hotstart file in cpanel all dir perms is 0700 beacuse of this I can not install Joomla. Why perms is 0700 and how can fix problem?

You can unpack and upload files from your computer by FTP or you can use FTP program (Filezilla) to change permissions of ALL Joomla folders to 755 (there's option in Filezilla - recurse into subdirectories).

If you don't know how to do that, you can ask hosting provider to change permissions of all folders on your site.
