User Login Email Activation

Hello,

I have created a login for registered viewers. I believe the modules & menu items are correctly setup & configured. The problem I am having is that when a new visitor creates an account there is no email being generated for the viewer to activate their account. How do I get the "Create an account" to automatically generate an email? I am unsure if I missed a configuration setting somewhere. Can you please advise?

Please consult your hosting provider if PHPMail is available on your server. Alternatively, you can setup SMTP server to send emails from it (in Global Joomla Configuration).
