White background under template

Hey there,
Just after the template finishes, below the footer the white background starts (i guess it's not a part of the template any more). I tried editing index.html but nothing happened, I need to change its colour so it matches the layout.
How?

We must see your link to check what is that first.

I have bought Furniture Store template but am having problems with changing the colour scheme of the template; background, text colour and so on.

I really need help to get this done.

You have in template settings parameter to select one of the pre-defined styles or custom style. If you select one of pre-defined ones that rest of parameters will not work, so if you want to customize pre-defined style you will have to edit styles/styleX.php
