Virtuemart "Ask question about product" issue

I have hot_furniture template installed (Joomla 2.5.7/VM 2.0.10) and getting a strange issue when a user clicks on "Ask question about this product" or the email icon on a VM product page. Instead of opening the form for an email, it opens a modal window containing the VirtueMart Front Page menu item. You can see an example at dev.redstrong.com/index.php/home/products/m350 . If you click on the "Ask a question" or email icon, you will see what it is doing. I created a menu item "VM FrontPage just for a comparison to what happens when clicking the email link.

Any ideas how to fix?

First, upgrade to the latest version of VirtueMart (2.0.11). Then (if it still doesn't work) try to disable SEF links to check will it work then.

Disabling SEF fixed the issue. But now I am having the same exact issue as another one you are working on here . So I am following that topic for a solution. I may just disable the ask question altogether because it's looking to be a pain, when the user can just as easily use the contact form page.
