Hi. I'm Running VM 2.0.18a and Joomla 2.5.8.

url: texadesign.com.preview.citynetwork.se/in.../produkter/plafonder

Even though I set the user group "Ej inloggade" (not logged in) as standard and removed the options for showing the price for that group, the price still shows up in the front end when looking at the item. How could this be removed for the not logged in group?

When clicking on product specifications ( texadesign.com.preview.citynetwork.se/in...plafond-svart-detail ) the button "add to cart" is also showing up even though this user group shouldn't be able to purchase anything from the web site. How can I remove this button for the said group?

Best regards / Hazzo

Did you update VM form earlier version. form 2.0.12 - 2.0.18 there were nasty changes in VM that caused menu such problems. Users often have to execute sql scripts to repair that. You can search VM forum to find solution or you can wait 2.0.20 that is expected to be important release with no such bugs.

Yes, it was updated to 2.0.18a. I'll check for sql scripts and see if I can get around it. Thanks anyway.

PS if you have a link or a script, pls pm it here.

Problem is that I can not give you preciser instructions because it could be million of things. One way if you can not find solution is to make fresh temporally install of joomla and vm, enter few products in similar way you have on original site. Then compare tables to note general difference, such as for example you see some filed in table of one database is always NULL or empty and in other it has value.

OK thanks anyway.

Do you have a solution for my other question:

"When clicking on product specifications (texadesign.com.preview.citynetwork.se/in...plafond-svart-detail) the button "add to cart" is also showing up even though this user group shouldn't be able to purchase anything from the web site. How can I remove this button for the said group?"

since both are related to users right to see something or not I think that same thing causes that.

btw. did you try to just save each category/product/setting once. Also try to reset vm configuration - deleting record in #_virtuemart_configs
