Search feature working?

Does the joomla search feature work on this template?
Installed quick start version and tried search for "table" and no result. Also checked demo - no results.
So questions are:
1/ Should search work on demo/ quick start.
​2/ Does phocacart products get included in search results.

Hello,

Phoca Cart has its own search engine that outputs the products as search results.

It’s not enabled by default in the HotStart installation but you can enable it easily if you create a menu item of type Phoca Cart Search or by publishing the Phoca Cart Search module in a module position.
