Missing Gallery Overview Columns was created by jeffrothgeb
My Sportal Template has Joomgallery loaded to it. I have 6 colums selected in the Gallery Overview but only 5 are showing up. I have been told it is a problem with my template and not Joomgallery.

I know the 6th column is there because every now and then I can see a piece of it. I am thinking that my catagory names (the text) may be too wide and not allowing the 6th column to come into the display area where it should be.

I have worked with justifying everything and many other little tricks but just can't seem to get it right.

Here is a link

Any suggestions anyone?

Jeff

you 6-th column is cut-off because template is not wide enough to show it. Eater make width of template bigger of make columns less in width.

To make columns less in width add this to the end of layout.css:

.gallery {
width: 920px!important;
}

also you can remove left and right column (page column) to make room by disabling modules for that page for that module positions.

Ivan, Thank you very much. I have been trying to figure that out for weeks. I think it is finally starting to come together.

I was wondering if you may be able to answer another question? I would like my articles to have Facebook & Twitter links on each on so that our guest are able to share them or comment about them. Do you know if there is a way for me to do that using the Sportal Template?

You can use 3rd party service as www.addthis.com/

When you get code snippet from them, simply paste it into any appropriate module position.

Hey Jeff... how did you get the Joomla Gallery into the Sportal template? I have struggled a few months on that..

Did you manually upload it? If you could, let me know.

I have a sportal template on my group's website as well. Just one more item and I feel completed.

Thanks,
Arista
