module width help

I would like to make picture icons that link to each pge of my website ---using this template i cant find a way to do so ---I need approx 12 individual links with pictures (please see website abcolympics.com you will see 3 examples in the advert mod locations. If I use adverts 1 2 3 4 there is too much space between them
ideally id like to put them where the lightbox is but thats only one module and they would go under neath each other The advert location allows for 4 in a row then it drops to the next row. How can put more in a row or shorten the width of the modules

ummm i did leave a link and an example of what we have lol again abcolympics.com you will see 3 olympic icons that link to their pages i want them all to lineup lengthwise as they do vertically

on all that modules holding icons add class suffix: " sport_icon" , note first char is blank. Then in layout.css add

float:left;
margin-top:10px;
}

Ive run out of space on advert 1 it only takes 9 of my icons i have twelve when I choose any other advert module it doesnt align
