Drop-down menu and carousel news

Sir, I went through the forum to get a solution for a classic drop-down menu to the Sportal template. I came across an attachment but unfortunately it displayed an error message. Kindly advise.

Also, I want to add an extra caroussel news (presently only 4 are displayed). Kindly advise where I should go to amend the settings and also how to sort them. I tried to sort them, but when I view in the browser, it does not come correctly.

All you need to do is to change menu tag id to nav2

Carousel is by default configured to display articles form some category, you need to add article to that category. Things that can prevent it for displaying is article limit in module settings or if that news is featured and you set in module settings not to show featured articles
