Dimensions for a background Picture in Sportal... was created by jbarkerjr64
Hi There,
I really love the Sportal template that I am using to revamp the Runyon Field Sports Complex website.
I have a question: I currently have the background as the color green (you can check it out at www.runyonfieldsportscomplex.org/rfsc2022 )
What I want to know is what would the dimensions be for a background picture if I wanted to use one (dimensions is H and W in px)???
Plese let me know.
Thanks for your time!
John

Hello,
You can use any dimensions for your background image. The optimal size depends on many factors. For example, if you are using a pattern (background image that repeats), its size depends on the pattern size. If you are using a single background image, the higher resolution would give you a better (sharper) output. However, the bigger resolution means slower loading (bigger image size). So, the resolution should be between 1000 and 2000px in width and the same range for the height.

Milos
