About hot sportal

I was wondering if I can use the hot sportal for a news - portal anyway.
Is there any problem for changing the titles of the submenu categories?
I am kind of new on joomla and developing anyway and I dont wont to have any problem that I will can not handle with my knowlege.

Yes, you can use any template for any purpose. There's no problem to change any content of the template demo site, if you know how this is done in Joomla.
