Search Results

How can I stop the search results from showing on the home page? This is very ugly and breaks the look of the home page.

How do you mean that?

Do you have search menu item so it can be controlled for module displaying in Menu Assignment?

I'm using the same Search bar that came with the template. I just don't want the search results showing on the home page. That's all.

You want to omit results that came from home page? - for that there is no basic joomla option , you will need some 3-rd party component.

There has to be some way to not show search results below the home page content. Is this question to hard for you?

What 3rd party extension are you referring to when you say "some 3rd party extension"? Can you be more specific?

well seams that I understood you first time, you need to create menu item of type search so it would take over displaying search results. Go to your menu and add item of type search.
