no left menu

Hi,
i use joomla 1.5.25
when I create a new item, the left column disappears and the carousel.
my article appears on the width of the body of my page.
footer 1, 2,3 remain.
Any solution please ?

oh, many thanks Ivan for your idea.
I founded the reason this nitgh and intend to inform you.
As i use hot_chameleon15_hotstart, most of items are associated with mod_mainmenu and others mod. So, when i create new one, some of them are not associated with mod_, need to be defined manually.
