Favicon was created by martin.gleiss
Hi,
I just tried to change the favicon at the Destinations template. I found, where it is to be changed, but I only can choose between "Noting" and "Standard". How can I use my own file? Does it have to be in a specific folder?
Thanks!
Martin

Hello,
I don't know where you found the settings "Noting" and "Standard"? It's not part of our Joomla template for sure.
There's an option to select a Favicon in the System > Site Template Styles > Hot Destinations > Features > Branding > Favicons. There, you can select Browser Bar Icon (ICO file), Apple icon (PNG file), and Android icon (PNG file). To see your icons on the lists, use FTP to upload them to “/media/templates/site/destinations/images/icons” folder.
To create a proper favicon's ICO file, you can use an online tool, such as www.favicon-generator.org/
Your browser can cache the old favicon. So, if you can't see the new favicon, please clear your browser's cache or check with a different browser.
Regards,
Milos

Hi,
it's definitely the destinations template, but I may have described everything a bit sloppy. Sorry for that.
In the favicon section you have a dropdown field, where you can choose between (that's german) between "Nichts ausgewählt" (nothing picked) and "Standard verwenden" (use standard) for the browser bar icon.
So where can I pick the image file?
Thanks!

Hello,
As I said, the icon images should be uploaded to the folder <JOOMLA ROOT>/media/templates/site/destinations/images/icons. Open this folder with FTP and check if the images are there. You probably upgraded from the older Joomla version, and your images are left in the folder <JOOMLA ROOT>/templates/TEMPLATE_NAME/images/icons
So, upload your icon images to <JOOMLA ROOT>/media/templates/site/destinations/images/icons, then go to the template settings, and the images should appear on the list.
Regards,
Milos
