Error on initial page

Hi Ivan,

I've started an instalation from scratch because I'm doing a multisite and multilanguage site and I was told that it was better this way.

Hereunder is a pic of the home page where you can see a white stripe (under the rotator module) with nothing in it.





I have checked all the modules several times to see what is published there but I find nothing.

The only modules published are these:



Could you please help me with this issue?

Why doesn't the vm-category menu (Menu Stencils module) display if "show on all pages exept home" is activated?

Your site looks broken and I can't login to administrator. Got an error message. I recommend you to install HotStart and then build the site by modifying our demo data.

Regarding the White line on home page, are you edited template's index.php file. Make sure you have this line in this file:

<?php if (!$ishome) { ?>

Home page (the default menu item, the one marked with asterisk) must not have anything published in the LEFT or RIGHT column. Make sure you selected the right menu item. No matter what is its name, it must be default (marked with asterisk).

Sorry, just updated to joomla 2.5.4 and got the problem. I'll advise as soon as it it solved.
