How to change currency

How do i change $ to pound ?? I checked Virtuemart configuration menu and unpublished everything except pound and uk. That unfortunately doesn't give me any effect, in the cart ?I still have $.
And also how do i change footer info "designed by...." ???

Did you check Store-> Edit Store -> Currency Display Style -> Currency symbol

I've got selected @British Pound@ in components-> viruemart->shop->shop. I cant find any path you privided: Store-> Edit Store -> Currency Display Style -> Currency symbol. Maybe I was looking somwhere else then I should?

And what about sign below?

That answer was for vm <= 1.9 , you are using 2.0 , then best ask on vm forum.

Ivan with the whole respect, if you are support member of your products team, you should not send me out to VM board, m I right? But if you not (then apologise) a member of staff then fully understand your approach, but from my point of view I paid for the template and everything should work just like that. Hot start wasn't I believe, created just for the name? And please dont take me wrong, if I'm paing then I'm expecting.
Getting back to my problem:
I'm using what you sale mate. Still if you a member of product support noone answered me about the changing of the footer.

Go to vm admin , then Configuration -> Currencies. You can filter your currency in list , then you can enter it to change it's properties. There you will find filed for symbol.
