Any suggestions for creating a blog with the Hot Cosmetic Template and Joomla?

Any useful extensions that you would suggest?
Do you guys make a module/template for this?
Any way to incorporate it into the Hot Cosmetic Template?

Really I'm looking for some general direction.

Well you have blog layout for menu item type, if you want comments you need to get some 3rd party extension like jComments.
