Virtuemart products not showing

In vm configuration->configuration->Product Order Settings try changing default ordering fields to something else. To "Ordering" for example for both:

'Default product sort order' and 'Default category sort order'

Can I send attachments by email?

Save it as jpg and make sure it is under 400kb

I can only see the category "cakes" my other categories "double cakes" and "specialty cakes" are not showing.

Go to global configuration. Set "Error Reporting" parameter value to "Maximum". Then browse your categories to see if any error will pop out. If yes post it here.
