Trouebles to get the newest article always on top

Hi forum, I have trouble to get always the newest article on top of articles on the frontpage. They always pop up somewehre in the middle of the frontend. I tried a lot of possibilities to sort articles from backend "Home Page", but none did it. Is there any help? Thks Helmer

You can set "Featured Articles Order" , and then set order in article manager "Features Articles" tab, by clicking on order column you get inputs and save button to modify order.
