Pictures are not changing

I am trying to change the images on the top menu and the menus quit working. I am stumped. Is there something I am missing? All I did was replace the images in the template/images file.

All images are in folder: templates\hot_flashes\images\menu\

bg1.jpg
bg2.jpg
...

are main images and each corespondents to one slice of flashes menu. You must have one for menu root item (you can add more bg6,bg7...).

the images :

sub1.png
sub2.png
...

are for moving transparent background on sub menus. Also you must have one for each menu root item and you can add more.
