Upgrade to joomla 2.5.6 was created by barri58

I have installed joomla 1.5 template Hot Flashes working perfectly, now the hosting Internet Service provider, says I have to upgrade to joomla 2.5.6. HOW DO THIS PROCESS?

why would someone force you to do that. If server can run j2.5.x it can surely run all prev versions.

We have 2.5 version of that template, try this procedure first update using normal update procedure , then replace template. It's least painful method bu my opinion.
