Just make sure that your server has PHPMAIL installed and it's capable for sending emails. You can cut the spam question by removing it from file /modules/mod_rapid_contact/mod_rapid_contact.php but it's NOT RECOMMENDED because your site will be targeted by spammers in a couple of days and there will be tons of unsolicited messages.
