Hide items in Children categories

Hide items in Children categories was created by plive

Hi,
I am under joomla 2.5.8, and i don't know how to hide listed items under my category/Children categories.
I want only show the categories.

If you mean "in menu" then you can define max level in menu tree to be shown in menu module settings
