edit the logo in the top menu

Hello,
I would like to edit the logo in the top menu. I found the logo in my Joomla directory under images. When I edit it there and refresh the website, the logo doesn't change.

Are you sure you are editing the correct image? Please provide the link to your website so we can check this. Also, you should try clearing the browser's cache to see if the new image will be loaded. Also, make sure you are not using some server-side caching or CDN. Maybe the old image is still cached there?

i have cleared the browser's cache. I have not done this: server-side caching or CDN. How can i find out where the picture ist stored?
