Colours above the menu

And then I get to my second question.
How do i make a gradient in the colours of the buttons like in News Hot Portal so that the bottom of the button is darker than the top?

Best to set such background pattern image on them.
Add to template_css.css:

.navv > li{
background-image:url(..url to patter image..);
background-repeat:no-repeat;
background-size:100% 100%;
}
