Articles Not Appearing In Sequence

Yes, articles are still not in sequence. I have attached two screenshots to show that the articles are ordered and published and also that the options are set to article ordering.

I have tried not to amend the template settings away from the default at installation but this is something that I need to resolve as the article sequence on the site is not as intended and also unsightly.

Ok that is global setting on pic, and menu item see this:

Think I may have found the page - the ordering is not defined on the 'Articles' tab but under 'Featured Articles' as per the screenshot attached.
This has now put the items in order
