I can't create a website like the demo

I want a website like the demo:
demo.hotjoomlatemplates.com/one_page/index.php
but I can not.
Where do I put an image to appear instead of appearing (town_summer)?, I want a picture of me.
I managed to put a picture of me as a background template, but that's not the solution, because that image appears on every page and I do not want that. I want exactly like the demo site.
